There are herbal micedenis for this. Sorry I don't have any actual names for you, but I did look through some at our local health food store for my son (he is 9) He also has issues staying on task at school (reading/writing exercises) We are now in the process of screening him for ADD, because his school wanted to hold him back a year and he gets straight A and B's! No matter what, I will refuse to put him on any prescribed medication as I believe too many children are medicated for this as it is when they don't need it. Anyways, right now we are just watching his diet no caffeine, sugar, junk food in general. Making sure he gets enough sleep, etc.Something else you may want to consider is, is he understanding? Maybe he spaces off becasue he just doesn't understand what is being taught? So he's may be lost .? Just somethings to consider.Hope he is doing better soon.
